American Apparel's garments are awesome...a long, lean fit, 100% cotton, they wear and wash well (though they'll shrink a lot if you're not nice). Pay attention though, as sizing is pretty goofy. When in doubt, order a larger size.
Below are some notes about the various styles we offer. Rather than offering the 18-24m size (except in pants and formal wear), we jump from 12-18m to 2T, as 2T fits an almost one year old perfectly and for a long time.
Tank Tops:
Run small. 3-6 m is the most adorable summer newborn gift you can give. 6-12 m is a good middle-age baby size. 2T takes over for older baby through almost 2 year old. 4T for a 2-3+ year old. 6T for 3-4+ year old. Shop for one...
