Without the support of our local Whole Foods Market - Lake Calhoun, we may have gone under before we were hardly off the ground. They have been nothing but amazing to us for over two years and still boast the largest selection of Black Sheep Baby clothes in town. Newly remodeled, we can now be found in the baby/kid aisle. To go further with this amazing company nationwide, we need to find colorful organic options... and we're still looking. Check out their WHOLE KIDS CLUB next time you're in.

Our dear friend Wendy (and Kellie's) salon at Lake & Lyndale in Uptown Minneapolis. They hosted our awesome unveiling party in Spring 2006 and have been a huge support to us in so many other ways. This salon pioneered hair extensions and dread perms in the 80's and 90's and was voted "Best Haircut in the Twin Cities 2008" by the City Pages. Kellie and Wendy do regular tours to San Francisco, LA and New York City if you're interested in being having your hair done by the best!

Ingrid's dad, Hayden's beloved Grandpa Kenny, he has taken all our photos from the start and we'll owe him forever. Specializing in sports photography, he's a pro at portraits, weddings, and any other kind of function you might want captured on "film" (he's gone digital).

A new Minneapolis company, owner (mother of three) Rachel Wenham is looking to pamper the new mothers of the world while they're still in the hospital and beyond. Any one of her packages would make an amazing (group?) shower gift. Plus we've done an exclusive matching Daddy/Baby run of our Tornado Design in her colors (green on brown or pink), found in her "Daddy Bonding Box."

An aside: Hayden's dad Lane plays in her brother Johnny's band. Her other brother is comedian Nick Swardson (Reno 911, Grandma's Boy and much more!) who is HI-LARIOUS!

Jon Sweet (who is super sweet) has done most all of Lane's (My guy/Hayden's dad/Our Designer) sleeves.

Our awesome indie guitar shop, owner Andrew is so decent (and a dad). They offer guitar, bass, drums, piano and voice lessons and have a killer selection of new and used instruments and gear, locally and online.

A dear friend and generous spirit, Marnie See is by far the BEST MASSAGE THERAPIST IN THE UNIVERSE. More than that, she is a healer. Her space in Kenwood neighborhood is as beautiful and relaxing as they come. She also makes and sells Gerbera Baby hot packs, perfect for a new or nursing mom's (or anyone's for that matter) tired back or for warming up cribs and the like.

Some months after having Hayden surgically removed from my uterus, something went horribly wrong with my back on a more than monthly basis. The finest, kindest chiropractor in the land (Dr. Kara Arne - Arne Chiropractic in Wayzata 952-473-4241) sent me to this amazing place and they fixed me! It's been 2 years since my back has spazzed out. Wahoo!

A local chain, individually owned, they have the best coffee in the country (and I've tried them all, being a fiend). My favorite addiction is their cold press, which I drink year round. If anyone is looking for a franchise... you can't go wrong with this one.

Local and fabulous (5 locations), they gave us free pizza for our benefit with no hesitation. Super kid friendly, great atmosphere and food (though the price of individual pizza slices made New York Jennie go ballistic on the counter girl).

Lovesacs rule. So cozy and funny (watch the "Learn Lovesac" thing on their site) We have a store in the Mall of America who gave us five big Sacs for our silent auction, as well as some killer seventies style wrist/headbands and tote bags. They're called Lovesacs, what's not to like?

Owners Lise and Slater didn't hesitate a minute when asked to donate their space and employees for our Tots with 'Tude Launch Party Benefit for St. Jude. Hayden has been going there ever since and not only loves it, but has become a more confident, social and decent kid because of it. A priceless precursor to preschool! Their newest location is in Woodbury. Make sure to tell them we sent you, as we owe them big time!

Hayden's first year in Mrs. Schubloom's class was insanely perfect and he's loving his second year with Mrs. Kist "who has the loveliest smile."

Having rented inflatable bouncy moonwalks for 3 parties now, I've found Kirk and his crew to be excessively great, letting us keep our "toy" for extra days when it worked out and to make up for the day we got rained out. They have a great selection and very decent prices.
